Karen Richardson

Karen has been in the health and fitness business for over 30 years. Introduced to Pilates in 1998, she found it helped relieve the hip and back pain she was experiencing from years of running and high impact aerobics.

With two certifications under her belt, including The Pilates Center/Boulder in 2010, Karen was drawn to the Gratz equipment and to the teachings of Jay Grimes.  Under the tutelage of Samantha Walley, Sandy Shimoda and Melanie Petri, Karen’s understanding of her body with Pilates began to change and so did her teaching style. Karen’s passion and commitment to Pilates is something she shares with her long time clients. “Doing something you truly love with people you care about, is the greatest reward of all”.
